Swiss painter and sculptor Tom van Kaenel and his wife Priska together form Kalodromo. This Greek word for 'good way' perfectly sums up their way of working. Each object is created from the shape the stone already has and comes to its final form of sculpture, bowl, pot or vase under Tom's hands. The surface remains rough so that the character of the stone and the traces of the craft are visible. Incredibly beautiful objects, created 'the good way'.
This object has interesting shades in the marble and, with its beautifully shaped bowl 'on top', is a lovely centrepiece on your table.
