At Oogenlust, you will find a wide collection of Studio Comploj vases. The Studio Comploj Roxy vases are distinguished by their thick walls and pronounced relief, which makes them heavy and solid, while the slender shape gives them elegance. Studio Comploj drew inspiration for the Comploj Roxy vase from the antique moulds of glassblowers from Murano (Venice). An opposite of the Roxy vase is the Studio Comploj Air vase; in its soft colour gradations, this vase is actually light, fragile and transparent. Bestsellers in our Studio Comploj collection are the Candy vases. From the Candy Round, the Candy Flat the Candy Flat XL to the Candy Tall; all beautifully hand-blown vases by Studio Comploj in deep warm tones and with a surface that reflects light beautifully.

Studio Comploj's working method

Robert Comploj is studio Comploj. Founder of Studio Comploj, Robert Comploj was born in Tyrol, Austria. After his studies, he travelled around the world for years where he worked with the best glassblowers and learned from their different techniques. Once back in Austria, he moved to Vienna and started Studio Comploj. With his very own take on modern glass objects, he manoeuvres between art, design and craft with Studio Comploj.

Studio Comploj's workshop is a treasure trove of creativity located in the heart of Vienna's 18th district. Here, modern glass objects are blown with exceptional craftsmanship according to centuries-old artisanal techniques. This is not work for cowards; it is physically demanding and demanding, not least because the glass is blown at extremely high temperatures. This artisanal way of blowing glass combined with sleek, modern designs ensures that Studio Comploj's glass vases and objects are known worldwide.
